Projection design and operation: David Kim
David is the president of the Korean Student Society at UBC.
As a student in an interdisciplinary arts program, he has participated in a variety of theatrical and experimental forms of expression. His particular interest focuses on interactive performance for social change, and he aims to incorporate issues of multiculturalism into expressive forms of art.
avid has been working with the Lake Babine Nation, a First Nation’s community in Burns Lake, teaching “Creating Theater” sessions.
He participated in the Ten Nights of Dreams featured by TomeArts as a designer and as a projection operator.
David is also the lead volunteer coordinator for the Korean Cultural Day Festival, the largest Korean cultural event in Vancouver. David also writes articles and a weekly column for the Korean-Canadian newspaper, Joongang Il Bo.
