Emcee: Michael Morgan
Michael was a nationally syndicated radio personality for many years and pioneered national radio syndication in Canada working with stars like David Suzuki, Dr’ Ken Blanchard author of ‘The One Minute Manager’ books and Grammy award winning composer and producer David Foster.
His was the voice that captured young adult listening audiences throughout metro Vancouver in the 1970s and 80s, as a host on his popular radio show on CKLG and CFUN and was the morning talk show host on CFUN from 1998 -2001. His public relations firm, Michael Morgan & Associates, specializes in political advocacy advertising, earning him and his company recognition throughout North America, including one from the Washington Post for creating the most innovative election campaign in Canada at the time.
His voice has been lent to a number of publicly recognized campaigns, including ‘ Discovery with Dr. David Suzuki’, ‘Earth Day’ and ‘Bring the Kids’ with the Vancouver Aquarium, the VANOC campaign for presentation in Turin during the Olympic games and Aboriginal Tourism.
Michael generously volunteers and supports many non-profit organizations relating to childhood education, the environment and aboriginal issues.
Michael is currently the CEO and President of SuperChefs Entertainment, a company that has created animated characters called SuperChefs of the Universethat delight and entertain children while educating them about the power of good nutrition.
